The ribbed funnel neck is the standout detail here - it sits higher and closer to the jaw than a standard collar, cutting out wind without needing a scarf underneath. Oversized, boxy silhouette with a cropped hem that sits at the hip, giving it a rounded, voluminous shape that feels intentional rather than simply padded out. Horizontal quilted baffles run across the body and sleeves, holding the fill evenly so the jacket keeps its structured shape rather than bunching or shifting.

Front zip fastening runs the full length from hem to the base of the funnel neck, making it easy to layer over chunky knitwear without bulk at the collar. Designed for plus sizing, so the proportions are balanced specifically for a size 16 and above - the shoulders sit correctly and the hem lands where it should. Cold Saturday mornings call for exactly this kind of jacket - the sort you can throw on over whatever and immediately look put-together.

The boxy crop works brilliantly with wide-leg trousers or straight-leg jeans, keeping the proportions balanced without any fuss. The model wears hers with cream wide-leg trousers, which softens the overall look, but it works just as well thrown over all-black for a sharper contrast. The ribbed funnel neck means you can leave the scarf at home on most winter days - zip it all the way up and you've got real coverage.

For a casual weekend out, pair it with chunky trainers and a longline hoodie underneath to let the hem peek below the jacket. It's the kind of outerwear that earns its space in the wardrobe by working across the whole cold season - from autumn market trips to January commutes - without ever looking like it's trying too hard. boohoo Dames Plus Rib Funnel Neck Puffer Jacket | Kaki | Maat: 48
